Your Zepto Umitab is designed to work best with the included power supply. Using a third-party power supply may result in slow charging and is not recommended.

The Mail app is your one-stop shop for email on your Zepto Umitab. The first time you start the Mail app, it’ll prompt you to set up an account. You can add your Outlook.com, Gmail, AOL, and Yahoo! accounts, and even your work email (Exchange ActiveSync).

A Microsoft account is an email address and password that you can use to sign in to your Zepto Umitab. When you sign in with a Microsoft account, your Umitab is connected to the cloud, and the settings, preferences, and apps associated with your account “follow” you to any PC running Windows 8 or later.

Another benefit of using a Microsoft account to sign in is that if you ever forget your password, you can reset it online.

If you're having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi, you may need to restart Wi-Fi on your Umitab  or your network hardware. Sometimes fixing the problem is as simple as installing the latest updates for your Umitab

If you’re having trouble connecting your Zepto Umitab 3g (4G LTE) to a network, it may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • You need to install the latest Umitab and Windows updates.
  • You may not have cellular coverage.
  • You may not have an active data plan.

There are several ways you can extend battery life, including reducing the brightness of your screen, unplugging USB devices you aren’t using, and turning off Wi-Fi if you don’t need it for a while. On Zepto Umitab models, you can also choose a power plan that saves power. If you have Windows 10, you can use battery saver settings.

First, check for things that might prevent your Zepto Umitab or Windows from starting or the battery from charging.

Step  1:  Disconnect everything. Remove everything connected to your Zepto Umitab and unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
Note: Make sure the Tablet is attached to the keyboard.
Step 2:  Check connectors. Check for any damage to your connectors and use a soft cloth to make sure the connectors and charging port are clean and free of debris.
Note: If you see any damage to the charging port, power connector, or power cord, contact us.
Step 3:  Plug in your Zepto Umitab. After checking the connectors, plug the power supply into a working electrical outlet first and then reconnect the power connector to the charging port on your Umitab..

The issue may be with the power supply, the charging connectors, or just a low battery charge. Please contact us.

Sometimes this happens when your Umitab Cover isn't aligned properly with your Tablet. You may need to detach and reattach the Cover a few times until you're sure you have a good connection
